WORSHIP is my WARSHIP - 2 Chronicles 20

In 2 Chronicles 20, King Jehoshaphat of Judah faces an imminent threat: an alliance of several enemy nations is preparing to attack Judah. ​​Worried, Jehoshaphat turns to God and proclaims a fast throughout the land. He calls upon the people to pray and seek divine help.

At this assembly, a prophet named Jaiaziel received a revelation from God. He reassured the people, telling them that the battle was not theirs, but God's. He commanded them not to fear and to prepare for divine deliverance. Obeying God's word, Jehoshaphat and his army set out for battle, but instead of fighting, they sang praises to God. As they began to sing, God caused confusion among the enemies, who turned on one another and destroyed each other.

At the end of the battle, the men of Judah found a field filled with riches abandoned by the defeated enemy. They gathered these spoils and returned home, praising God for his faithfulness and deliverance. This chapter demonstrates the importance of faith, prayer, and praise in times of crisis, as well as God's power to save and deliver his people.
